First time at M.A.C. Cosmetics store?
Well, this is actually my second time. The first time was so confusing and i only got one thing. I don’t know if all mac counters/stores are set up like this but mine is in Dillard’s. All of the tester makeup are on stands but have no prices or names, it just says what they are. The products you purchase are on separate shelves. So, do you ask the sales associates for help with the products you want? Do they get the products from the shelves for you or can you get them on your own? Also, how are the collections set up? When i go there i’m planning to buy things from the new collection they came out with. Are they on a different stand of their own? I know what to get i just need to know how the whole process works. The MAC artists get the products you want to buy for you from either drawers or on shelves (probably for their own loss prevention). Generally while you’re looking around at least one person will ask you if you need help finding anything. You can ask them what the prices are for whatever items you’re interested in. And yes, the new collections are always on their own separate stand or area. If you don’t know where, you can ask. I know that when you first go in there, it tends to be overwhelming, and I know that some of the artists can look intimidating but it’s their job to help you, so always ask. Hope this helps
