Get a spray bottle (sold anywhere… any size) and put a cup of warm/hot water in it, then put in a tablespoon of salt, and shake to dissolve. (If you want to make a more for every cup of water is a tablespoon of salt) It gives you the beach-y curl look naturally, and cheap.

Substituting one brand of makeup for another?

I’m wanting to know what brand of makeup that is good quality but still a good price can I substitute for MAC makeup. There are a few eye shadows I’m wanting but I can’t really afford to spend $14.50 for one eyeshadow when I’m going to be buying these items for gifts for three teenage girls. (about 8 items a piece) I thought of buying eyeshadow sets but when the girls looked at the makeup none of the sets had the colors they wanted.

am i too young for under eye wrinkle cream (16 yrs) ?

i have had veins under and all around my eyes ever since i was young. they are very DARK and noticeable veins that i HAVE to wear concealer even if im not wearing any other makeup. due to these veins, im constantly applying makeup and other things to my delicate eye area…which have resulted in wrinkles. my mom says she doesnt see anything but when i look closely they are there!! and i would rather prevent and keep them away…..i am looking into the estee lauder advanced night repair its like $50 but i really want it…my mom says i dont need something that expensive at 16 but i am REALLY serious about having no wrinkles..

Well I definatly think that using an under eye cream or anything to help prevent wrinkles is fine at 16! I’m 14 and I a mask once a week and an under eye cream to help prevent having wrinkles when I’m older, but your mom’s right about not getting the $50 one. At your age you don’t really need such an expensive one. I use a burts bees under eye cream. It is made with almost 100% natural ingrediants and is much cheeper then estee lauder one you have been looking at. If I were you I would wait until I was 30 or 40 to start spending so much money on an under eye cream.

I have Shu Uemura Shape Paste (Scultping Putty), and I haven’t tried it yet. Does a product like this help add definition and separation for long hair layers? I always thought of hair paste/putty as a product for use on short hair, so I’m not sure how this product would work on long hair.

Alright, so I am not going to invest in MAC brushes or any others that are very expensive. I just need some simple brushes, like some face and eye ones. don’t bother buying name brand brushes, head down to the art store and get brushes from there. i use them, they feel just the same, there’s just as much variety and they’re a lot cheaper. just test their softness and wash them well before you use em .
