Primer make-up??

What is it, how does it work and where can i get some from in the uk that wont cost me a fortune? Ive heard it helps to keep make-up on, which i need as my foundation wears off and sink in or just sits on the skin! I use mac studio tech cream foundation and clarins truely matte oil free foundation.

I have bad skin – dented, lump and red scars so i need something that would help smooth that out if possible…does the primer do this?

Primer make-up is just a base that you put on before foundation to keep the make-up from getting into your pores or having it entirely disappear. It also smoothes out the skin so the make-up goes on nicer. If you have pretty good skin you could just use it instead of foundation. I really love the Sephora brand; it’s not that expensive. personally, i prefer the maybelline concealer, but that may just be because of my skin type. i have slightly sensitive skin, and this works great for that. you only need a little, and can work it up in layers if needed. it also works great on any spots or pimples you could have. you also get quite a bit in the little bottley thing, i’ve had mine for around three months, and still have loads left. hope this helped:) x

I’m trying to find a cheap alternative to getting my nails professionally done before i leave for vacation this tuesday. It’s either these strips or the glue on nails- the problem with those is that i’ll be in the water a lot so i’m afraid the glue will wear off quickly.

They are so awesome. I just put the leopard print ones on, and they look absolutely amazing. They say the cleaner your nails, the longer they last, but they last for up to about 1 week for me even when my nails are really clean. Even though it doesn’t last long, it’s so worth it because your nails will look incredible.

TIPS-
1) The strips are really long. If you cut them in half, you have double the nails. So when they come off, you can put new ones on without having to buy a new package!
