I want an AMAZING Foundation (dry/fair skin)?

I have dry and red skin. I want something with medium to full coverage to cover up the redness but I also don’t want a foundation that will dry my skin. I have extremely light skin and usually wear the lightest colour sold. I would like to spend around $30 for the foundation but I’d be willing to go up to about $50 if it is truly the most amazing foundation ever. I don’t want a powder foundation, I use bare minerals to set my liquid foundation and what I am looking for is either a liquid or cream foundation. I went to the MAC counter and she tried some foundations on me and I didn’t really care for them that much. I got a sample of the clinique redness solution foundation to try and I was thinking of trying the Clarins foundation or the Chanel foundation.
Please give me reasons of why they work, how you know they work. What you like about it, what you don’t like about it.
I said no more than $50 an airbrush set is at least $100.

I don’t have dry skin, but I do know of several Clinique products that may help you:

First up is the SuperMoisture Makeup ($23.00). The claim on the website states that it’s suppose to be moisturizing (duh) and long-wearing. The con is that it provides sheer coverage. The second foundation is the Redness Solutions Makeup SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology ($24.50). As the long name suggests, it’s formulated to address redness in the skin. For cream foundations, there are the City Base Compact Foundation SPF15 ($23.00) and the City Stick SPF 15 ($23.00). The Compact Foundation focuses more on moisturizing the skin and that coverage is buildable while the City Stick opts for the skin-perfecting kind of look. i am looking for a perfume called Mille et une roses from lancome?

Those who were disappointed by the limited distribution of gorgeous 2000 et Une Rôse will be delighted to know that Lancôme is planning to reintroduce this fragrance in June of 2006 as Mille et Une Rôse (or 1000 et Une Rôse, to avoid the associationg with the second millenium). Wedding Makeup on a budget?

My dear cousin and his bride are on a budget that makes me wonder how they survive each month. They are getting married and she needs to feel beautiful on her special day. I don’t think going to department stores is a good idea for makeup like I did. I think I paid a few hundred dollars to Lancome for my stuff.

If your first reaction were “Oh, this is no problemm at all . . . it’ll be a breeze!” Then I would say go for it! However this is one day you don’t want to mess up.

Now what I heard from Clinique was that you have to buy three products with them when you have a bridal makeover . . . not $200 worth of stuff. I think that’s fair. Make sure this is true. And if so maybe you could accompany her to the appointment and treat her to some quality foundation, blush, and lipstick from them. That would be a sweet present. I say foundation and blush because they do look better when professionally matched, and lipstick because the bride will probably need touchups on her lips throughout the day.

The other option you could try is to call your local cosmetology schools and see if they offer makeup application. At mine it only costs 12-16 dollars. Which isn’t bad. And I figure they’re being trained “right now” so they really have the process in their head for applying correctly. And they have to have a professor check off on their work before they’ll let you leave. I would not be worried one bit.

Messy Beach Babe Look?

i have almost-shoulder length naturally blonde hair and it is fairly wavy and it naturally looks a bit beach-babey when washed and left to dry naturally. but i sometimes cheat and have to add a few kinks and flicks here and there with my straightners (using them as curlers). i have heard of products you can get to acheive this look without having to curl your hair or do anything with it other than washing it (or not even that as some you can use on dry hair)… i have read reviews on the john frieda beach blonde ocean waves spray but they say it isnt very good. i have also heard of the garnier one and the bumble south one. are either of these any good?
