Revlon vs Tweezerman?

Slant tip tweezers. Which ones are the best?
I’ve been using Revlon but they need to be replaced often… but they are much cheaper than Tweezerman. Your opinions?

I have curly poofy hair. I was wondering if the Surf Spray would work in my hair or not? It’s expensive so I don’t want to splurge if it doesn’t work. Also, is there a way to make this product at home? I heard all you have to do is mix sea salt and water…?

Take 5 teaspoons of fine table salt, 2 teaspoons of leave’in conditioner, and 7 tablespoons of hot water. Put it in a (microwavable) spray bottle and every time you use it, stick it in the microwave for about 5 seconds.

Mascara- It was Great Lash in Blue.
Eyeliner- I think it was a really cheap stick from Wet and Wild, or something.
Eyeshadow- A quad I from MaryKay.
Foundation- It was compact, and I am pretty sure it was CoverGirl.
Concealer- MaryKay.
Blush/bronzer- Pearls of Perfection, I am not sure who its by!!
Lipstick- Dont really use lipstick. It always dries me out!
Lipgloss- It was a little tube that I got for christmas when I was little. I dont remember the name though!

What makes it so different?

You should only use it if you have extremely dry skin. It is VERY oily, and meant to be used in conjunction with their toner, which is full of alchohol and has a tendency to dry the skin out. (someone told me the toner was just as harsh on your skin as nail polish remover!) I suppose one cancels out the other. In my opinion, just because its pricey or has been around for awhile, doesn’t mean its good. It just shows how the cosmetics industry takes advantage of us. There’s a GREAT book out there called ‘Don’t Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me’ and its fabulous! Gives you the straight dirt on all cosmetics, from the high priced department store stuff to the make up counter of the local drug store.

What works for me is getting a nice set of acrylic tips done professionally. They are super hard so even if you go to chew through habit you will catch yourself.

Which foundation out of these 3?

I am looking for a really good oil free foundation that wont break me out,and suitable for dry skin.
I do use a moisturizer before I apply my makeup.
I have narrowed my choices to these three foundations.
I like them because they are all full coverage and have SPF.
I want to know if the MAC one makes you oily because it’s not oil free.And I would also like to know which foundation is good for dry skin.

Bare Minerals Question?

i have really dark circles and the only think that covers them up for me is bobbi brown corrector then some of my dewy smooth foundation from clinique. i do not want to wear liquid foundation on my skin anymore because it clogs my pores. so i was thinking of just using the correcter and foundation just around my eyes and then using bare minerals foundation over the rest of my face. would that look weird at all? or should i just stick with the liquid foundation all around? i do not want to use bare minerals to cover my circles cause i tried my friends once for that and i looked like i was 100 years old it was soooo dry and cakey and gross looking. i will not put that stuff under my eyes again

Dark circles are in the genes! I to use bare minerals, but it covers my circles. I would use the concealer and see how it looks. Just make sure you blend it well. You can also have the circles removed.

Which is better: Elizabeth Arden “5th Avenue” or “Green Tea”?

I know that they are two different scents; however, I want to know which is more dominant and which lasts longer. Which one do you suggest to buy?
