Socialism vs Capitalism?
Can a supporter of socailism explain why those that work hard should support those that don’t. Ok bit simplistic but lets imagine 2 people born in the same area one works hard at school and college goes on to university gets a masters as well and then gets a high paid job. The other cannot be bothered bumbles through life has no ambition and has low paid job. Why should the former subsidies the latter
Put simplistically, like you have, it doesn’t seem fair. However, you have to take into consideration those who can’t work (full time carers or disables people) – why should they struggle when there’s plenty of money sloshing round in the world. All it takes is a little common sense and fairness.
